Providing discount medical supplies to thousands of customers has put TheMedicalSupplyDepot.com in touch with a challenge faced by many of their customers who are shopping for mobility aids: finding the right solution to meet their needs and budget. After extensive research and development, the company has introduced its response to this challenge, a new Wheelchairs & Scooters “department” that includes many features needed for easy shopping.
In addition to buying medical supplies online, customers can now shop this “store within a store” for a full line of power and manual wheelchairs, wheelchair accessories, and 3- and 4-wheel mobility scooters. Top brands represented include Drive Medical, Invacare, Golden Technologies, Zip’r, Shoprider Mobility, Nova Ortho-Med and ActiveCare Medical.
They’ll be able to use multiple features for better results while they enjoy the same substantial savings offered in the online store’s inventory of more than 25,000 home health care supplies.
Owner Meir Tsinman explains, “Our customer care experience told us that the best way to go was to offer an extensive line of wheelchairs and scooters, deep discounts, and an entire department focused on making these purchases easier.”
Whether a customer is shopping for high power wheelchairs, ultra lightweight wheelchairs or 3 wheel electric mobility scooters, they will find all of the information required to make the best purchase. Assistance comes with the following tools, available in purchasing many medical supplies online at TheMedicalSupplyDepot.com:

How to Measure – Shoppers will find the precise measurements they can take to ensure the wheelchair they purchase will fit correctly.
How to Select – For those who want to be as informed as possible before making a purchase, this feature provides everything from consumer tips to general product information.
Compare Checked Items – This feature, available on all mobility products, allows customers to select and view all of their options at once for easier comparison, vital when making this type of purchase.
Narrow Your Choices – Relevant filters, such as price, brand, speed, chair weight, seat width and more, let customers define a targeted range of wheelchairs and scooters from which to make a selection.

Question by Naomi D: Besides Ebay, is there a good place to buy used items online. I need a good cheap portable ramp to ,,,?
to get a mobility scooter loaded in my van. It is just to bulky and heavy to take apart and lift every time.
Thanks in advance for any serious answers.
Matt, you’re sweet, but it’s not my scooter, just my van. I drive my sister who has cerebral palsey and her scooter is heavy and I am just not willing to dismantle it every time.

They can also select other needs they may have like a holder for canes or crutches.
ÂÂWhen you are on vacation, convenience is very important. For a mobility challenged person, this new service eliminates some of the concern associated with traveling. Our mobility scooters and powerchairs can accommodate the handicapped, disabled, senior or mobility impaired visitor offering safety, reliability and convenienceÂÂ said Susan Bogota-President of Coronado Mobility, a 100% woman owned business.
Hotels also love the service as it makes their job of assisting the handicapped, disabled or senior traveler easier by using a company located right on the island. In the past, travelers would sometime have to ÂÂfend for themselvesÂÂ and try to find a mobility scooter or power wheelchair for rent in the San Diego area. The popularity of this vacation area and the limited number of available rentals made that task very difficult.
Coronado Mobility uses high quality, safe and reliable CTM Mobility Scooters and Power Wheel chairs that are fully equipped with adjustable captainÂÂs chairs, headlights, mirrors and safety reflectors. The scooters have a top speed of 5 mph, can carry up to 300lbs and have a range of up to 25 miles on one electrical charge. These features give visitors the ability to explore all of Coronado Island and the chance to explore downtown San Diego, Ferry Landing and Seaport Village utilizing the handicap friendly ramp for the San Diego/Coronado Ferry, the handicapped accessible buses of the Old Town Trolley, or the San Diego Metro Trolley.
Visitors can ensure a wheelchair or scooter is ready for their arrival and exactly meets their needs by reserving one in advance at http://www.coronadomobility.com/reservation.html or by calling Coronado Mobility Company at 1-888-574-4033.
